It is the philosophy of BRM to give back to the community.  We support those organizations that assist our employees and the communities we live in.

 This support can best be seen by BRM’s participation in:

Each year BRM has a United Way drive.  In 2007 the total donation to United Way was over $35,000.  BRM and its employees take great pride in donating their time and money to the United Way and its agencies to help our community

Each year BRM employees participate in the United Way Day of Caring.  This day is used to help United Way agencies.  Employees participate in the Buncombe County and the Henderson County Day of Caring.  BRM sponsors a bass fishing tournament each year that is open to the public, and all of the money raised is donated to the United Way.  The above picture is of the 2007 first place bass fishing team.  BRM also delivers Meals on Wheels to the elderly in our community once a week. 

BRM is also a cosponsor for the local United Way golf tournament.  In 2007 this tournament raised almost $25,000 for the United Way.

 BRM also participates in the local United Way Softball tournament.   The team for 2007 is pictured on the right.

Since 1997 BRM has been a sponsor of the Fletcher Recreation Park Youth Baseball League.

Each year BRM holds American Red Cross Blood Drives.

BRM also supports local Colleges and Universities.  A donation is given to help support leadership scholarships at UNC-Asheville and we also financially support Blue Ridge Community College. 

Since 2006 BRM has been a proud sponsor of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.  Below is a picture of BRM’s 2006 team.
